Project summary

TELENOT ELECTRONIC GmbH has successfully implemented work systems for blank concepts in electronics production with the help of BeeWaTec tube insertion systems. By switching to modular, flexible production solutions, the throughput time was reduced by 89% and the required space by 36%. The new approach not only increases productivity, but also enables practical, continuous improvement with the involvement of employees. By 2027, TELENOT plans to gradually implement lean principles across its entire end device production and beyond.

Initial situation and problems

TELENOT faced several challenges in electronics production:

Long training period: e.g. up to 9 months for the high-runner product “cryplock”
Outdated processes: Workshop production with one workstation per employee
Shortage of skilled workers: made even more difficult by complex process steps

AFTER

Implementing the lean production concept

TELENOT chose BeeWaTec as its partner for setting up its own lean workshop - including know-how transfer, material supply and on-site implementation of lean solutions from the pipe connector system. The starting point was an in-house certification workshop held by BeeWaTec at its headquarters in Pfullingen, Baden-Württemberg. The objective of the internal TELENOT project was to increase output by 50% while at the same time saving space and streamlining processes.

TELENOT's steps on the road to implementation

1. Workshop-based development: cardboard prototypes of the new line designed and tested together with employees
2. Iterative test operation: direct adjustments through live feedback during operation
3. Digital redesign: implementation of the final solution in BEEVisio
4. Realization with BeeWaTec components:
- ESD-compliant design
- Structure made from SUS tubes and modular elements
- 15 flexibly combined trolleys, shelves and trolleys
5. Material provision in advance: for fast implementation without loss of time
